Official Synopsis for The New Deal 3×10
A REASON TO FEEL GUILTY — Stefan (Paul Wesley) has hidden the coffins containing the bodies of Klaus’ (Joseph Morgan) family, and Klaus quickly turns to violence to convince Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Elena (Nina Dobrev) that no one will be safe until he finds Stefan and gets his family back. Tyler (Michael Trevino) continues to make the most of his new abilities as a hybrid, but he has to face the disturbing consequences of his actions as well. After a terrifying incident, Elena and Alaric (Matt Davis) grow increasingly concerned about Jeremy’s (Steven R. McQueen) attitude and, ultimately, his safety. Alaric meets the beautiful Dr. Fell (guest star Torrey Devitto, “Pretty Little Liars”), who is intrigued with his amazing ability to heal. While trying to strike a deal with Klaus, Elena delivers news that truly shocks him. Kat Graham also stars and internet personality Justine Ezarik guest stars as a bartender.

“I see dead ex-girlfriends.” That’s what we wish The Vampire Diaries‘ Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) would say in a hushed whisper every scene.
Everyone’s favorite brooding younger brother has been front and center with his Sixth Sense storyline. From that first chilling stalker ghost in his house to sweet interactions with murdered ex Anna, seasoned Vampire Diaries fans like us should have known being brought back from the dead has some quirky side effects. And shady exes coming out of the woodwork are only the beginning, McQueen tells us…
When last we saw Jeremy he was teamed up for some fun buddy-cop gig with Katherine (Nina Dobrev), but does that mean they are on the same side now? Don’t count on it, says McQueen: “Katherine usually has some sort of bad intention, and I think she is usually up to something. With my ring I’m like a never-failing blood bag, so I feel like me being around her is never all that good for me.” That’s probably a good assessment of the situation if you ask us.
Are Jeremy’s problems just of the ghost variety or is it mo’ ghosts, mo’ problems? Vampire sister lookalikes trying to drink your blood, ghosts, girlfriend hauntings—add in the first day of school and you have a real party. Shocking right? We didn’t think these kids still went to school, either.
